Prevention Services
Communities Connected for Kids works with local providers to help keep children and families from entering the foster-care system. Prevention includes family-support services, such as parenting and counseling services. Those providers are Boys Town South Florida (In-Home Safe Parenting), Hibiscus Children's Center (Safe Care), and Behavior Basics (Refocusing the Modern Family). Both organizations provide evidence-based parenting services through multiple programs with many years of proven success in preventing abuse and neglect before it happens.
