
Recruitment Campaign Rolls into New Year with 12 Months of Activity
CCKids is rolling out another year of outreach and education with its #25in2025 campaign - an extension of last year's campaign to add 25 new foster homes to Okeechobee and the Treasure Coast.
"This is an ongoing, yearly, campaign to raise and maintain awareness for foster care and our need for more homes," said Christina Kaiser, Community Relations Director for CCKids, the organization that oversees the child-welfare community in Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee and St. Lucie counties.

Forever Families Project
Children available for adoption are featured weekly on CBS 12 through the Forever Family project. This Florida-based non-profit project leverages the power of the media to help children and teens in foster care find loving, adoptive families.
All segments air on Tuesdays at 5 p.m. and again on Saturdays, then on NBC 6 Miami, NBC 6 Fort Myers, and WFTV Channel 9 in Orlando. To see previous segments, visit CBS 12.
